Read the following scenario and answer the questions:
Roger Smith, a quite competent swimmer, is out for a leisurely stroll. During the course of his walk he passes by a deserted pier from which a teenage boy who apparently cannot swim has fallen into the water. The boy is screaming for help. Smith recognizes that there is absolutely no danger to himself if he jumps in to save the boy; he could easily succeed if he tried. Nevertheless, he chooses to ignore the boy’s cries. The water is cold and he is afraid of catching a cold — he doesn’t want to get his good clothes wet either. “Why should I inconvenience myself for this kid,” Smith says to himself, and passes on.
1.) There are always TWO sides to a conscience. What would Roger’s conscience be telling him?Rogers conscience is telling him to not help the guy as it would inconvienience him, knowing that he could easily help the guy with ease dur to his talent in swiming. He i considered to be wasting his talent and neglecting the guy in trouble. His conscience has not devloped to that extent at that point so he did not consider that he might be prosecuted by the authorities for leaving a person to die.
2.) Think of an example of Jesus’ teaching and explain how his teachings can help us to make an appropriate decision?
One exapmple of Jesus’ teachings is the story about a land owner giving his servants talents hile he was gone. The servants made a profit form their given talents except one. He made the wrong decision by lsaving the talent and not making a profit form it while his master was gone. We can al learn from this teaching by analysing on what the factors are and to seek help when needed.

We define interactive TV (ITV) as a user experience that involves at least one user and one, or more audiovisual and networked devices. Previous definitions were focused on the technological aspects and ignored the fact that even traditional TV is potentially interactive. For example, viewers compete mentally with quiz show participants, or co-operate between collocated groups. Moreover, viewers react emotionally to TV content, they record, edit and share TV content with friends and discuss about shows either in real-time, or afterwards. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aiyXP-xh_ew Scenario 1: You are on a train coming home from a day at the beach. The train stops at a station and a group a youths get on the train and start bashing an elderly ethnic man. You notice people getting off the train.
Discuss what you would do in this situation.
In this situation I would scream for people to help me stop the group from bashing the man but before I do this i would run to the guards Compartment then bang the door really really hard till he comes out, when he comes out i will describe what is going on, then he will call the local police at the next station. If the gang didn’t stop or if the other passengers didn’t help I would have to do it my self and just put myself over the man to protect him.
Scenario 2: You get a message from a girl that you are interested asking you to come over her house. When you get there a number of her friends are present and they say they are bored. One of them promotes the idea of going for a walk and causing a riot. At first you tell them “No way”. However, the girl you like states that “she will like you more if you go”.
Discuss what you would do in this situation.
In this situation I would tell her no and i don’t care if you like me but it’s the wrong thing to do. If they still went and did it i would dump that girl and would go tell their parents or police what they have just done and leave and not talk to them again.
